Welcome to TheBlues.ie - Your Home for Blues, News & Views!
Starting out as Waterford Celtic in 1927 before entering the League of Ireland as Waterford FC in 1930, through to the switch to United in 1982 and back to FC since 2016, it’s always been The Blues. That’s the one constant through stadium moves and changes in ownership. The Blues are the people – the fans, the players, the community – and this site tells all of their stories.
TheBlues.ie covers the Waterford FC Men’s and Women’s teams, its academy, players past and present, its supporters, its glorious history and the wider football world. These are the stories told in the stands, on the buses, in the pubs and the homes of fans around the world.
