School Reunion

The 2-0 win against Drogheda was magical for many reasons and this topped it off. Ronan Mansfield was a beast and my choice for Man of the Match. You could see just how much the win meant to to him and he immediately ran over to his pal Jordan Power to celebrate. Jordan is a massive Blues fan and the two lads were classmates in Blackwater Community College in Lismore. Ever-alert to capture the moment, club photographer Noel Browne was right on the spot and got the perfect shots of a very special moment for both the lads.

Ronan is a fantastic example of the yoing talent here in Waterford and he always shows his passion to play for the Blues. He was outstanding in the game - on the ball, winning challenges and headers, making clearances and fighting for every inch. A terrific performance by the teenager and I can see him being a future club captain.
