The Monday Memory today is something of a fashion parade from our First Division title-winning celebrations in January 2003. Jimmy McGeough’s men had just sealed a return to the Premier Division after three absent seasons and put on their best clobber to party.
Current academy coaches Vinny Sullivan and Daryl Murphy are there with Barry Wood, Kevin O’Brien, Kevin Waters, Anthony Fennelly, Willie Byrne, Ross Cosgrave and Gus Di Lella. The late Freddie Robinson is also pictured with his wife Siobhán. A great young team who took the top flight by storm later that year.
